Protect Spirit Mountain: Stop Privatization and Union Busting
Help us to stop the mayor and Capital Mountain Partners from signing a 40-year contract that could lead to mismanagement of a valued community resource, privatization is union busting
The fight for Spirit Mountain
We refuse to allow the city to just barter off their responsibility. The privatization of Spirit Mountain threatens not only the livelihood of 26 dedicated workers but also the community's access and control over a cherished recreational facility. Join us in preserving this vital resource.
If these efforts fail, workers stand to lose their full retirement packages and potentially their jobs, as the incoming management would not adhere to a 50-year practice of collective bargaining. The community will also lose its platform to influence future development, rates, and even access if the mountain becomes privatized.
Our mission: A community united
Our mission is to safeguard Spirit Mountain for future generations, ensure fair labor practices, and uphold community control over its beloved recreational facilities. Join our movement and help us make a difference.
